  1. Thanks for your work and sharing this free. This plugin is useful, I like it so much!!

  2. For some reason, I cannot get the plugin to save a successfully created zone. After I enter the data, it says something like “zone set up correctly” but then no zone appears in the manager. I simply want to create several Kadom generated widgets to place banner ads. Any suggestions? Thanks!

  3. Forgot the vitals.. I am using Wordpress 2.8.4

  4. I think I figured out what was going on… I didn’t input a dollar figure as I am placing affiliate type ads. After I entered an amount, the zone saved and appeared into the manage.

  5. I have really enjoyed your plugin. I have 5 Kadom widgets in my side bar for various ad zones. I noticed my site slowed a bit, not “I want to leave this website” slow, just somewhat slower. I ran my website through Firebug and saw that the group of Kadom widgets added 2-3 seconds of load time to my website page and this doesn’t include the images. Does this seem excessive? Is 5 widgets overdoing it? Thanks! CFisher

  6. Hello CFisher,

If the stats aren’t necessary for you try to deactivate the statistics under the main Kadom options page. Anyway, if you stay under 10-12s of load time it’s not a big deal.

    • Thanks for the quick feedback. The stats are important to me as I have no other way to track impressions since I moved all ad photos to my site from the affiliate sites, hoping to speed things up. Today, I installed WP-Widget Cache in hopes of speeding things up… not sure if it is working yet…possible hyper-cache conflicts… in the end, I can live with the slight slow down.. Great ad-management plugin!! I’ll donate as soon as I start selling ads. CFisher

  7. Hi ,

First of all thank you for you work as I do use your plugin since a few weeks now and taking in consideration that am pretty new to the blog arena i could use it…. very user friendly, cheers again guys.

A quick question, today, without modifying anything, i suddently can’t edit the ads campaigns anymore, and can’t create new one…. Is there a known issue or will it eventually reappear as it disappeared??

What happens if I simply reinstall the plugin?? Is there a way to save the work done before erase everything?

    Thank you

    YVes

    • Hello Yves,

Thanks for using KAM. I’ve never heard about similar problem like yours. Probably something have move on your blog but I didn’t have enough information to let you know what.

Be sure, to fill the form correctly. what is “I suddenly can’t edit campaigns anymore” ? The form don’t appears ? the update isn’t taking in count ?

Unless you use the uninstall system of the plug in, nothing will be lost in the database (perhaps just the widget options). So you can deactivate and delete the plugin files.

  8. Hi,

Cheers for your quick reply, the form doesn’t appear anymore, and if i click on the edit button of existing campaigns it still doesn’t appear…

I re-installed the the plugin by overwritting the existing files, but that didn’t help…

I guess I will try next to un-install it completely and start from scratch ;-(

    Cheers for your help so

    • Hi Yves,

I think that an entry must create a database error (probably the last that you added). So, You should try to just delete the last campaign added and see if the form reappears.

    Hello,

I’m excited about using this plugin, however I’m having some start up problems. Have installed Kadom Ads Management and it appears on the side of my control panel. When I open it, it asks me for the advertisepage url. When I enter a URL it says that I’m not suffienty permission to acces this page. Where did I go wrong?
